And I say “Current”, because frankly, I don’t know how long he’s goina last.

2009 – 8 Wins 3 Losses – 3.03 ERA Strike Outs 96 Walks 28 (Holy Hell, This Must Be Why They’re Keepen Em Around, Eh? What a Season)

2010 – 18 Wins 8 Losses – 4.19 ERA Strike Outs 146 Walks 58 (Wow, That’s Good Too)

2011 – 5 Wins 5 Losses – 5.79 ERA Strike Outs 47 Walks 27 (Uh oh, and the Trouble Begins)

This Year (2012) So Far – 1 Win 2 Losses – 6.75 ERA Strike Outs 15 Walks 6 (Ok, so the Season is Young, Hopefully he’ll Redeem Himself against a Real Tough Texas Team Tonight)

 

Michael Pineda Update;

ARLINGTON — The Yankees will wait another day for more information on right-hander Michael Pineda, who was unable to complete an extended spring appearance on Saturday due to right shoulder discomfort.

Pineda is now scheduled to undergo a dye contrast MRI exam on Tuesday in New York, at the direction of team physician Christopher Ahmad. Manager Joe Girardi said that a scheduling conflict pushed back Pineda’s examination.

“He’s going to see the doctor [on Tuesday] and go through all his tests tomorrow,” Girardi said. “At some point tomorrow evening, we should have something.” Full Story Here

Andy Pettitte Update;

ARLINGTON — Yankees left-hander Andy Pettitte is scheduled to throw 80-85 pitches for the Double-A Trenton Thunder on Wednesday against the Erie SeaWolves.

Manager Joe Girardi said that he is curious to see how Pettitte, who will take the mound at 7:05 p.m. ET at Trenton’s Waterfront Park, bounces back after the outing.

“Now, you’re starting to get some higher pitch counts and you want to see how he’s bouncing back,” Girardi said. “At any point, does he need an extra day in between? It’s possible. It’s not unusual for us to give them an extra day in Spring Training, just because they get up higher.” Full Story Here

Hiroki Kuroda Heating Up;

While the Yankees were deservedly complimentary of Darvish, they are also encouraged about how Kuroda handled the tough Texas lineup after turning in one sharp effort and two subpar outings to date.

“I told him, ‘We can do that all year long, and we’ll be just fine,'” Martin said. Full Story Here

Kuroda looked Good last night against a Very Tough Texas Lineup, Holding them to just 2 Runs… We didn’t get the Win, but that had more to do with The Rangers New Star Pitcher Yu Darvish, just Shipped in From Japan…

Yu Darvish was Amazing to Watch last night, and though He’s Not a Yankee, I Very Much Look Forward to seeing him Pitch Again…
