    Wow!

    I want to thank the Swallows for their incredible, and unscripted performance, and I thank the judges for what was I’m sure a difficult task. They honor me greatly.

    Also, I thank my wife for her support, and for standing by me for the 40 years of me not winning anything.

    Also a nod to my parents, sibling, a few (but not all) of my relatives, and many friends who supported me with their silent, at times deafeningly so, approval.

    Last, and least, I thank all the people who contributed toward me favoring solitary hobbies as opposed to being gregarious . . . were it not for them, I probably would be a party-going, drinking, and all around bon-vivant with little interest in photography.

    Thank you all. For real.

    “Thank You’” to all of the judges for selecting me as one of your winners in your Dark Globe “Tell a Story” Photography contest. A bronze medal is far more than I ever could have imagined. You hard work and dedication in doing this contest is commendable. I am shockingly stunned and grateful to have received this. I was in the company of extremely outstanding photographers.
