I may not say anything about this Film that hasn’t already been said

But if you’re like me, and were always curious, but never got around to see it… See it.

Story;

An Indian Boy searching for the Meaning of Life… Or rather, the meaning for him

A Shipwreck that leads to Isolation on the Sea

A Tiger that is Fierce, and Highly Spirited

The Journey is the thing… Both Spiritually, Physically, an Emotionally

That’s enough said about that

Visual Effects/Cinematography;

100% See This Film for the Visual Effects, and Cinematography… It’s basically like watching a Moving Painting, as all would suspect upon seeing the Previews to it.

Characters/Actors;

surajPi Patel (Suraj Sharma) – Brilliant… Basically a Perfect Performance, if there is such a thing. What an Amazing Actor, and Character.

Inspiring, and Genuine.

Irfan-Khan-in-Life-Of-Pi-4c.jpg.625x417_q100Adult Pi Patel (Irrfan Khan) – Also an Excellent Performance.

The Rest Of The Cast; The Rest of the Cast was fine… They basically just represented Pieces of the Tale, prior to the Shipwreck. Other than the Interviewer, who wasn’t that great. I really did like His Mother, Father, and Uncle (Not really his Uncle, but Family Friend) Characters, though they were not in much of the Film.

Suraj Sharma really is this Film, as is most likely obvious once again by the Previews of the Film.

Review/Rating; I’d have to Agree with IMDB.Com, and give this Film a Solid 8 out of 10

That may not seem all that Great, but it really is a Good Rating.

This Film is what you expect it to be, Beautifully Stunning, and Spiritual.

But the main Actor makes this Film more than that… He is, like I say, Brilliant. But not just that, he’s just Extremely Human.

If you see this Film, Focus on the Main Actor, and the Visuals… I do believe you will Enjoy this Film

  1. It seems to need a great deal of suspension of disbelief. But then, what modern film doesn’t?

  2. May have been a bit sloppy in terms of writing, but the visuals are breathtaking and something that will definitely have your eyes advert on the screen the whole time. Good review DJ.
