Embarking Upon A New Life

I was told recently that i spend too much time thinking. And as I thought about that I realised that it might actually be true!

So I made a conscious decision that I wouldn’t think too much about life, and what it has in store, and where I could end up, and who I’m gonna marry, and what my kids could look like, what job I might have, where I’ll live, the size of my house, whether my mom’s gonna visit a lot, when the economy will turn right, how on earth did I get this cupcake to look so strange, oh wait that’s because I left it in my bag too long, wondering whether anybody thought I baked that cupcake at first, what time will I sleep usually, will I finish writing my novel before I’m forty, am I smart enough, am I fit enough, do I really exist or is this a dream……..and other such thoughts.

Guilty Conscience Cure!

It has been a seriously long time since I wrote here, and I’ve been terrible with my own blog. I feel so stupid about the time I’ve wasted and the ideas I never wrote and made into articles. Why would anyone allow such breakdown of judgement and ability? It’s so stupid! I’M stupid! Seriously though, who in their right mind just squanders opportunities to expose their written voice to a world that’s just waiting to hear their opinion? WHO?

What Spring Means To Me

It’s been a LONG time since I wrote here, and I’m glad to be “back”. I must say this month’s theme is quite an interesting one. Since I’m living in South Africa, when I hear the word “Spring”, I think of a literal spring!

Make sure this is on your car somewhere… Or else you’re screwed…not sprung!

I’m sure you’ve all seen one. The most immediate image comes from a ca. I’m positive I saw a bunch in some vital positions near the wheels. So I guess that makes the spring quite important to our world, in some way allowing us to travel safely in our cars. Wow! Already I’m feeling all gooey inside from this word! I believe they have something to do with shock absorption.
